Omar Abdullah Warns Against Mass Arrests in Kashmir
Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, has warned that mass arrests and demolitions of houses belonging to terrorists' families will only make things worse in the Valley.
This comes after security forces detained over 2,000 people they described as terrorists' overground workers following the killing of a policeman in Anantnag.
The security forces also destroyed two houses belonging to the families of two terrorists.
Abdullah believes that real peace cannot be achieved by force but only with people's support.
He hopes that the people will be taken along in the fight against terrorism to achieve real success.
