Rakhi Weekend Return Rush Slows Hyderabad Highway Traffic

Many people traveled to their hometowns for Rakhi and the weekend.

On Sunday, they were returning to Hyderabad.

This created a large number of vehicles on roads leading into the city.

The Hyderabad–Warangal and Hyderabad–Vijayawada highways were moving slowly.

Police officers went to crowded areas to help guide drivers.

Law and order police also assisted traffic police.

Their goal was to keep vehicles moving and prevent long stoppages.

More traffic was expected during the evening.

Schools, colleges and offices were scheduled to reopen on Monday.
