Kerala Man Allegedly Removes Transformer Fuses After Power Cut
Imagine the electricity that powers your homes is like a big river.
Sometimes, if people don't pay their electricity bills, the power company has to stop their water flow, like putting a small dam on their personal pipe.
One man got very upset because his electricity was turned off.
He allegedly went to some big control boxes, called transformers, and took out the little parts that let the electricity flow through.
This caused the power to go out for many people in his town, like turning off the main river valve for a little while.
The power company had to come quickly, put in new parts, and turn the power back on.
They also found the man and took him to talk to the police.
He told the police he has some health problems.
The power company is going to report him because it caused a lot of trouble and damaged their equipment.
A man allegedly removed fuses from seven transformers in Kasaragod, Kerala, causing a widespread power outage.
The incident occurred on Friday evening after the man's electricity was disconnected due to unpaid bills.
KSEB officials restored power by replacing damaged fuses, with electricity back on by 8 PM.
Residents reported seeing the man removing the fuses, and he was later taken into police custody for questioning.
The suspect claimed to have mental health issues, and a case will be registered upon KSEB filing an official complaint.
