Li Lu Exits Bank of America, Expands Pinduoduo Bet

Li Lu runs an investment firm called Himalaya Capital.

People sometimes call him the Chinese Warren Buffett because of his investing style and connections to Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger.

In a filing dated June 30, 2026, Himalaya reported owning eight stocks worth about $3.7 billion.

The firm bought much more of Pinduoduo, a Chinese e-commerce company.

It also increased its investment in Berkshire Hathaway.

At the same time, Himalaya sold all of its shares in six companies, including Bank of America.

Alphabet’s two types of shares were the largest combined part of the portfolio.

These changes indicate more investment in Chinese consumer businesses and Berkshire Hathaway, alongside less exposure to several U.S. financial and data-services companies.
