Indian Man Dies After Riyadh Airport Attack; Toll Disputed

An attack happened at Riyadh’s airport on October 10.

An Indian man who was hurt in the attack died the next day, the Indian Embassy said.

Reports first said 12 people had died, but later accounts said 13 after his death.

More than 300 people were reported injured, including Indian nationals.

Reports differ on whether 10 or 11 Indians were injured.

Saudi officials said another projectile targeted the airport on Sunday and a missile was intercepted nearby.

The airport stayed closed, and officials had not said when it would reopen.

The Indian Embassy told people from India to follow local instructions and stay indoors when needed.

The Houthi group warned people against using Saudi airports, but reports differed on whether it claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
