Vizag MP Raises Railway Issues with Minister

Vizag MP Raises Railway Issues with Minister

The Member of Parliament from Visakhapatnam, M. Sribharat, met the Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, to discuss several important issues.

He talked about the need for better railway infrastructure and safety for people in his area.

He mentioned that a formal notification for the South Coast Railway Zone is important for clarity and to meet the people's expectations.

He also raised concerns about public safety, especially in the Srungavarapukota constituency.

He asked for a foot over bridge at Mangalapalem village because people, including students and senior citizens, have to cross dangerous railway tracks.

Additionally, he pointed out that waterlogging at the road under bridge in Kothavalasa makes it hard for thousands of daily commuters, including students, to use it safely.

He requested either a new foot over bridge or a pedestrian footpath ramp.

The Railway Minister promised to look into these issues and take appropriate action.
