Forest Department Intensifies Hunt for Nilgiris Man-Eater Tiger

A tiger in the Nilgiris is suspected of killing two people this month.

Forest officials are working to catch it.

They are using three special drones that can detect heat.

They have also placed six cages in important locations.

Fifty cameras are being used to watch the forest.

More than 80 workers are searching and monitoring the area.

Officials have divided them into two special teams.

People living nearby have been told to be especially careful.

They should avoid going outside late at night or very early in the morning.

The warning will remain in place until the tiger is captured.
