NSCI Worli Faces Turmoil Over Separate Committees
The National Sports Club of India in Worli is having some big problems.
A lot of members voted to have separate groups for Mumbai and Delhi.
Almost everyone who voted said yes to this idea.
But the people in charge don't seem happy about it.
They made some rules that make it hard for the vote to work.
One member said the rules are not fair.
The vote was ordered by a court because someone complained.
The members also want to change some other rules about voting, but the management doesn't like that either.
It's a bit messy, but the members really want things to change.
A referendum was held on January 25 for separate managing committees for Mumbai and Delhi.
945 out of 1214 members voted in favor of separation.
The referendum was ordered by a Delhi Court following a petition by Gautam Dutta.
The management is accused of framing rules to benefit themselves and derail the referendum.
Members also seek changes in voting regulations, which the management opposes.
