CEPA Signed at WEF 2026 Boosts Indian Trade

CEPA Signed at WEF 2026 Boosts Indian Trade

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed.

This agreement allows Indian products to be traded duty-free with other countries.

Yusuf Ali, the founder of Lulu Mall, said this will help Indian trade, industries, agriculture, and aviation.

He also met with Indian Chief Ministers and plans to invest in India, focusing on actual agreements rather than just Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned that India is seen as a stable and trusted place for investment, with projected economic growth of 6-8% in real terms and 10-13% in nominal terms over the next five years.
