South Indian Biopics: Current Projects and Challenges

Biopics are movies about famous people's lives.

Several new ones are being made in South India, like movies about Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Narendra Modi.

Dhanush and Unni Mukundan will be the main actors.

Making these movies is tricky because filmmakers must be accurate and keep audiences engaged.

They need permission to use real names and events.

Sometimes, family members or associates’ opinions can limit the creative freedom of the filmmakers.

Repeating well-known scenes can lead to failure, emphasizing the need to showcase lesser-known facts.
