Skydance Commits to CBS News Ombudsman as Paramount Deal Advances
Skydance, which wants to buy Paramount, is promising to make sure CBS News stays fair.

Skydance also said they will get rid of any rules about diversity and inclusion.
The government is checking if Skydance can buy Paramount.
The government has previously said having an ombudsman is a good way to keep news from being unfairly influenced by companies.
Skydance has committed to create an ombudsman position at CBS News to review bias complaints.
The ombudsman will serve for two years and report to the president of the new Paramount company.
