Ambala-Shamli Expressway Reaches 70% Completion, Cuts Travel Time

A new road is being built between Ambala and Shamli.

About 70% of the road is already finished.

It will be six lanes wide and cover 121.78 kilometres.

The road is expected to reduce the journey from about three hours to 90 minutes.

It will pass through four districts in Haryana before reaching Uttar Pradesh.

It will also connect with several important roads and expressways.

Petrol pumps, restaurants, toilets and charging stations are planned along the route.

The road may help businesses, farmers and truck operators move goods more quickly.
