Lokayukta finds government revenue records in farmhouse
The Lokayukta, which is like a watchdog for the government, found important government papers in a private farmhouse.
These papers were supposed to be in government offices.
The Lokayukta thinks someone might have taken them to make fake land deals.
They found 435 papers, including 128 original ones.
The government officials are being asked to explain how this happened.
The Lokayukta says this shows that the officials were not careful with important papers.
They think this might have caused the government to lose a lot of money.
The officials will have a meeting to talk about this on August 21.
Lokayukta found 435 documents, including 128 original government revenue records, in a private farmhouse in Bengaluru.
The records were allegedly removed from government offices to create fraudulent land grants.
