Centre Allocates Four MBBS Seats To Terror Victims’ Families

The government has reserved four medical-school seats for some families affected by terrorism.

These seats are for the children or spouses of civilian victims.

One seat is in a college in Gaya, one is in Mumbai, and two are in Raipur.

Eligible applicants must be Indian citizens and meet the required age and school-subject rules.

They must also qualify in the NEET (UG) 2026 examination.

Families must submit verified applications through their state or Union Territory government.

The deadline for the Ministry of Home Affairs to receive applications is September 12, 2026.

Children who lost both parents receive the highest priority, followed by children who lost their family’s sole breadwinner and then wards of permanently disabled or seriously injured victims.
