Telangana Forms Panel to Resolve Long-Pending Section 22A Land Disputes

Telangana Forms Panel to Resolve Long-Pending Section 22A Land Disputes

The Telangana government wants to solve long-running problems involving land ownership and registration.

It created a special committee to examine complaints about Section 22A land restrictions.

People affected by these restrictions will be able to submit applications.

The committee will try to decide cases quickly.

More than 9,700 plots in LB Nagar will also begin a regularisation process.

This means eligible owners may be able to make their property status official.

The government is checking other approved layouts that cannot currently be registered because they are on a prohibited list.

Officials will also discuss regularising house sites in the Singareni coal belt, with decisions on several issues expected within a month.
