Last-Minute Change at Kite Festival

The International Kite Festival in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, had a last-minute change in its inauguration plan.

Initially, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz were supposed to fly kites from a small stage.

However, the plan was changed, and a round space was cleared, and an open jeep was decorated for the two leaders to ride and fly kites.

This change caused a bit of confusion among the organizers and security personnel.

The event took place on a Monday morning at the Sabarmati Riverfront.
