Rajasthan chief secretary urges faster efforts for TB-free state

Rajasthan is working to eliminate tuberculosis, also called TB, from the state.

Chief Secretary V Srinivas told officials to speed up this work.

They must screen more people, test them quickly and make sure patients receive treatment.

He said districts that are not performing well need special attention.

Officials should learn from districts that are doing better.

More X-ray machines and special laboratory tests will be used to find TB earlier.

The campaign has screened over 2.38 crore people.

It has also given nutrition kits to more than two lakh TB patients.

The number of villages and local councils declared TB-free has grown greatly since 2022.
