UP Minister Announces Emergency Hand Bands for Haj Pilgrims

A minister in Uttar Pradesh, India, has announced that Haj pilgrims will receive special hand bands with an emergency button.

This will help authorities keep track of them and ensure their safety.

The government is also using digital tools and artificial intelligence to make the Haj journey smoother.

The minister recently visited Makkah to check on the preparations for the 2026 Haj, where around 1.25 lakh pilgrims from India are expected to go.

The government has set up a special committee to make sure the pilgrims have the best facilities.
