Asian Games Medical Team Faces Scattered Athlete Care Challenge

India’s team at the Asian Games has a small medical group to help athletes.

The group has six people, including three doctors.

They are responsible for nearly 700 athletes and other contingent members.

They brought many medicines with them.

They also brought heavy equipment to help athletes recover and receive physiotherapy.

The athletes are not all staying in one village.

Instead, they are spread across different places in Nagoya.

This means the medical team may need to travel for one or two hours to reach them.

Their work is difficult but important for keeping the athletes healthy.
