Malabar Gold Reports ₹9.87 Lakh Gold Coin Fraud in Nashik
A company called Malabar Gold in India had a big problem.
Someone ordered six gold coins worth almost ₹10 lakh (that's a lot of money!)
from their website using fake names and phone numbers.
The gold coins were sent to a courier office in Nashik, but when they were supposed to be delivered, the delivery boy said the delivery was canceled.
When the company checked the packages, the gold coins were missing!
Now, the police are investigating to find out who took the gold coins and why.
They are looking at videos from cameras and phone records to catch the bad guys.
This shows how important it is to be careful when buying things online, especially expensive items like gold.
Six gold coins worth ₹9,87,130 were ordered from Malabar Gold's website using fake names and mobile numbers.
The order was sent to a private courier office in Nashik, but the gold coins went missing after being marked as 'out for delivery' and then 'canceled'.
The delivery boy is being interrogated, and the police are examining CCTV footage and call records to identify the culprits.
Malabar Gold has filed a complaint with the Nashik Cyber Police Station for financial fraud and breach of trust.
The police suspect collusion between the person who placed the order and the delivery boy, but the motive and identities remain unclear.
