Fishermen Launch First Boat Ambulance in Ullal
Fishermen in Ullal, a place in Dakshina Kannada district, have started a special boat called a 'Boat Ambulance' to help other fishermen in emergencies.
This boat can carry up to 30 people and has things like a stretcher, oxygen, and life jackets.
A team of 15 people, including a boat driver, will operate it.
The boat was started by the fishermen themselves because the government did not do it.
A important person from the government, U.T. Khader, helped start the boat by riding it and waving a flag.
