Hockey India has chosen 18 young players to represent India at a big hockey tournament called the Women's Junior Asia Cup.

The tournament will happen in a city called Moqi, in China.

It starts on August 30 and ends on September 13.

A player named Khaidem Shileima Chanu will be the captain of the team.

Captains help lead and encourage their teammates.

A new coach named Tim White will guide the team.

This is his first big tournament with the junior girls' team.

Before the tournament, the players practiced in India and also played matches in the United Kingdom.

That trip helped them get better at the game.
