Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tops Sales Charts Over SUVs

In a market dominated by SUVs, a sedan named Maruti Suzuki Dzire has become the best-selling car in India.

From January to September 2025, it sold over 153,000 units, beating out other popular vehicles like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki's own Wagon R and Swift.

The Dzire's success is thanks to its balance of features and affordability, as well as its good safety ratings.

Many fleet operators also favor the CNG versions of the Dzire.

Despite the popularity of SUVs, the Dzire proves that sedans still have a place in the market.
