Mumbai Brain-Dead Teen's Family Donates Organs, Saving Multiple Patients

An 18-year-old student named Meher became very sick and his brain stopped working.

Doctors said he was brain dead.

His family was very sad, but they decided to help other people.

They donated his liver, small intestine, corneas, and skin.

These organs and tissues can help sick patients get better.

Meher was studying to become a mechatronics engineer.

He had kidney disease but kept studying anyway.

He had just gotten into a college in Pune.

His father said his organs could give others a chance to live.

This was the 41st organ donation in Mumbai in 2026.
