Detroit Tigers Promote Max Clark to Major League Roster
Max Clark is a young baseball player who was chosen by the Detroit Tigers in the 2023 draft.
He has been playing in the minor leagues and has done very well, hitting many home runs and stealing bases.
Because of his good performance, the Tigers decided to let him play in the big leagues.
The team’s boss, Scott Harris, said Max is a very special player with many skills.
Now Max will join the Tigers’ main team and try to help them win games.
Max Clark, Detroit Tigers' third overall 2023 draft pick, is being called up from Triple‑A Toledo.
He has batted .276 with 11 homers, 42 RBIs and 21 stolen bases in 90 games this season.
Clark was named 2023 Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year and was a five‑tool prospect.
The Tigers’ president of baseball operations, Scott Harris, praised Clark as the best player on the board at that pick.
Clark is the second‑ranked prospect in the Tigers’ system, behind Kevin McGonigle.
