Matt Creasey Named Senior EVP World at Post-Merger Banijay Rights
Two big TV companies joined together last month.
Their names were Banijay Entertainment and All3Media.
Together, they became a very big company worth eight billion dollars.
After the joining, one company, called Banijay Rights, sells their TV shows all over the world.
A man named Matt Creasey got a new, important job there.
He is in charge of finding and selling TV shows everywhere outside Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He works from Los Angeles, and his team also works from Miami, Sydney and Mumbai.
Some offices in Singapore and New York will close.
The new company's TV show library has more than 265,000 hours of shows like MasterChef, Big Brother and Peaky Blinders.
The two companies hope joining together will save them about 57 million dollars.
Matt Creasey was named Senior Executive Vice President, World (excluding EMEA), at Banijay Rights following the Banijay Entertainment–All3Media merger.
The merger closed last month, creating an $8BN content giant with a combined catalog of more than 265,000 hours.
Based in Los Angeles, Creasey will lead sales, acquisitions and co-productions, with regional outposts in LA, Miami, Sydney and Mumbai.
All3Media International's offices in Singapore and New York will shutter as their activities fold into the combined entity.
