Rajya Sabha to Debate Operation Sindoor Next Week
The Rajya Sabha, which is like India's Senate, is going to have a long talk, 16 hours worth, about something called Operation Sindoor.
This happened because the people who aren't in charge (the Opposition) wanted to know more about what the government did.
The government, including important people like the Prime Minister, will be there to answer questions.
They will talk about Operation Sindoor, which was a military action that happened after a bad event in Pahalgam.
The meeting where they decided to have this talk was called the Business Advisory Committee.
Rajya Sabha scheduled a 16-hour debate on Operation Sindoor for July 29.
The debate follows demands from the Opposition for discussion on the government's response.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh are expected to be present.
The focus of the discussion will be Operation Sindoor, a military offensive after the Pahalgam attack.
