Daayra Trailer Teases a Morally Complex Cop Drama
Daayra is a new crime drama directed by Meghna Gulzar.
The trailer focuses on two police officers who disagree about how justice should work.
Their conflict begins after an encounter involving young people accused of a crime.
The story asks whether police authority should have limits.
It also asks who should be held responsible when officials make difficult decisions.
The trailer does not explain the entire case.
Instead, it shows that the characters face complicated moral choices.
The film suggests that following personal beliefs about justice can conflict with the law.
Meghna Gulzar returns to the crime genre after Talvar with Daayra.
The story centers on an encounter involving juvenile accused.
The trailer raises questions about police authority, accountability and legal limits.
A conflict between two officers drives the trailer without revealing too much about the case.
