India to Sell ₹32,000 Crore in Government Bonds
The Indian government is selling bonds, which are like loans the government takes from investors.
These bonds are worth a total of ₹32,000 crore and will be sold in two parts.
The Reserve Bank of India will conduct the auctions in Mumbai on Friday, September 26th.
The first part is for bonds maturing in 2040, and the second part is for bonds maturing in 2065.
These bonds are considered a safe investment because the government guarantees them, but they usually have lower interest rates.
Investors submit bids electronically, and the results will be announced on the same day.
