Ducati Hypermotard V2 Debuts at EICMA 2025 with New Engine and Chassis
Ducati has shown off its new Hypermotard V2 motorcycle at the EICMA 2025 show.
This new bike is like a sportier dirt bike made for the road, and it's special because it marks 20 years since the first Hypermotard.
It has a brand-new engine that's lighter than before and makes more power, so it should be faster and easier to handle.
The bike also has a fresh, aggressive look.
There's a special version, called the SP, which comes with even better parts like lighter wheels and advanced suspension.
It's packed with electronic helpers to make riding safer and more fun.
The whole idea is to keep the exciting supermoto feel while making it a more modern and capable machine.
Ducati unveiled the new Hypermotard V2 at EICMA 2025, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hypermotard prototype.
The motorcycle is powered by a new 890cc V2 engine, claimed to be Ducati's lightest twin at 54.4 kg, producing 120 hp and 94 Nm of torque.
The new Hypermotard V2 features a 13 kg overall weight reduction, an aluminium monocoque frame, and a Panigale V4 derived swingarm.
It offers Kayaba suspension on the standard model and Ohlins on the SP variant, with the SP also featuring lighter forged wheels and a special livery.
Electronic rider aids include a 6-axis IMU, Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and four riding modes displayed on a 5-inch TFT screen.
