Tycoon Wins UK Lawsuit Dismissal Over Pop Star Murder
A judge in London has decided that a lawsuit against Egyptian tycoon Hisham Talaat Moustafa should be thrown out.
The lawsuit was brought by Riyadh Al-Azzawi, a former kickboxing champion, who claimed that Moustafa ordered the murder of his ex-girlfriend, singer Suzanne Tamim, in Dubai.
The judge dismissed the case because Al-Azzawi did not share all the necessary information.
The judge also said that the case would be better handled in Dubai.
Moustafa had been convicted in Egypt for paying someone to kill Tamim, but was later pardoned.
