IMC Removes Unsafe Bank Balconies After Falling Debris Incidents

An old bank building near Rajwada had balconies that were becoming unsafe.

Pieces fell from the building on two occasions, but nobody was hurt.

The balconies were weakened by rain and age.

The city had told the bank to remove the dangerous parts by a deadline.

When that did not happen, the Indore Municipal Corporation removed the balconies itself.

Workers used a large machine for the demolition.

Traffic was stopped for a short time to help keep people safe.
