Nagarkurnool Students Learn About Snakebite Safety and Conservation

Students in Nagarkurnool attended a programme about staying safe around snakes.

Dr Priyanka explained that people bitten by snakes should remain calm.

They should be taken quickly to the nearest government hospital.

She said waiting too long or visiting faith healers can be dangerous.

Vamsi taught students not to go near or hurt snakes.

Trained snake catchers can rescue snakes that enter homes.

Snakes help farmers by eating rats and other small animals that damage crops.

The event also encouraged people to protect snakes and release them safely in suitable forest areas.
