India Launches SHRESTH Index to Boost Drug Safety Nationwide
The Indian government has started a new system called SHRESTH to make sure all medicines in India are safe and good.
This system checks how well different states are doing in regulating drugs.
The aim is to make sure the medicines are safe for everyone in India.
States will submit data, and get grades based on how they're doing so that they can improve their performance.
This initiative builds on the existing system that ensures the safety of vaccines.
