J&K Agriculture Program Sees Surge in Farmer Registrations
Jammu & Kashmir has a new program called HADP to help farmers.
More than 300,000 farmers have signed up.
The program helps with things like farm machines and training.
The government hopes this will make farming better by using new machines and teaching farmers new skills to grow more food and earn more money.
Over 3.01 lakh farmers have registered for the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in Jammu & Kashmir.
Registrations increased by 35% since January.
The program covers 29 projects across various agricultural sectors.
Farm mechanization and automation have the largest share of approvals, followed by fodder resource development.
