He also talked about how important it is for the DMK and other secular parties to protect Tamil Nadu and the rest of India from what he calls fascist forces.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Deputy Chief Minister, also spoke and said that the BJP is like an elephant that the DMK can control.
He also criticized other political groups, like the AIADMK and actor Vijay's party, saying they are not strong or organized enough to be a real threat.
Meanwhile, T.T.V. Dhinakaran, leader of the AMMK, claimed that his party is crucial for forming any government in Tamil Nadu.
He said that no alliance can form a government without the AMMK's support and that the final decision on alliances will be announced by late February 2026.
