Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Among Top Districts Honored Under PM Scheme

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been chosen as one of the top 10 districts for its work under a farming programme.

The programme is called the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana.

Officials measured districts’ progress using information on the programme’s dashboard.

District Collector Vinay Gowda GC will receive an honour at an event in New Delhi on October 12.

The programme works in 100 districts and combines many government schemes with private-sector participation.

Officials from several Maharashtra districts will attend.

Gadchiroli’s collector will share that district’s successful practices.

The district collector said the recognition reflects the work of agriculture staff and others involved.
