2027 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Adds Showa Fork, Radial Brakes
Kawasaki has improved its Ninja 650 motorcycle for the 2027 model year.
The biggest changes are at the front of the bike.
It now has a new Showa fork to help it feel more stable.
Its front brakes are also stronger and use four-piston callipers.
The motorcycle gets a redesigned colour screen.
Riders can add navigation and voice commands through a phone app.
A quick shifter can allow clutchless upshifts, but it is optional.
The engine stays the same as before.
In the UK, the motorcycle will cost £7,499 and arrive in December 2026.
Kawasaki has announced the updated Ninja 650 for global sales as a 2027 model.
The bike gains a 37 mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork and revised rear springing.
Twin 300 mm front discs now use opposed four-piston radial-mounted callipers.
A redesigned 4.3-inch TFT display adds navigation and voice-command functions through Rideology.
The 649cc engine remains unchanged, producing approximately 68 bhp and 64 Nm.
