ISRO Launches HOPE Mission in Ladakh to Simulate Space Conditions
ISRO has created a special base in Ladakh, India, to prepare for sending humans to space and the moon.
This base is called HOPE and it mimics conditions on Mars.
Starting August 1, 2025, two people will live there for 10 days to see how they handle it.
Scientists will watch them and perform tests, like checking their health and collecting samples.
This helps ISRO get ready for future space missions and keep astronauts safe.
ISRO launched the HOPE mission in Ladakh to simulate space-like conditions.
The HOPE base aims to prepare for future human spaceflight, including missions to the Moon.
The mission's inauguration was on Friday by ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan.
Two crew members will experience isolation at the HOPE base from August 1 to 10.
Researchers will study crew responses, conduct health checks, and perform tasks like soil collection.
