French Inmates at High-Security Prison Begin Hunger Strike
Some prisoners in a high-security prison in France, where drug traffickers are kept, have started refusing to eat.
They are doing this to show they are unhappy with how the prison is run.
The strike began this week.
The prison officials say they will not give in to the demands.
The inmates are upset because they are kept away from the outside world and are unable to manage their drug trafficking from inside the prison.
Before the strike, some prisoners flooded their cells with water.
The Justice Minister made the conditions tougher recently for some of the most dangerous prisoners in France.
