Andhra Pradesh Intensifies Efforts to Trace Citizens Stranded in Nepal

Serious floods have affected parts of Nepal.

Some people from Andhra Pradesh may be stranded there.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to find them and help them reach safe places.

A 24-hour help center is working from Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi.

Officials are working with India’s central government and Nepalese authorities.

People in danger are told to move to higher ground, avoid floodwater and keep their phones charged.

Reports say many people are missing and at least 95 bodies have been recovered.

India has also sent 10 tonnes of relief supplies to Nepal.
