India Shoots Down Pakistani Drone During Operation Sindoor
In 2025, a terrorist group called TRF, which is part of a larger group called Lashkar-e-Taiba, attacked people in Kashmir, India, killing 26 innocent tourists.
This made the whole country very sad and angry.
India decided to fight back and launched a special operation called Operation Sindoor.
The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Modi, said that India will now have zero tolerance for terrorism and will take strong action if any Indians are attacked.
During this operation, India also shot down a drone that was sent by Pakistan.
The drone was made in Turkey and was carrying explosives.
India's army was ready and stopped the drone before it could cause any harm.
This is a big change in how India deals with terrorism and shows that India is strong and can protect its people.
A terror attack by TRF on April 22, 2025, killed 26 innocent tourists in Kashmir.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 6-7, 2025, in response to the attack.
The operation involved precision strikes on terrorist infrastructure and training camps deep inside Pakistan.
During Operation Sindoor, India shot down a Turkish-made Pakistani drone on May 10, 2025.
The drone, a YIHA-III 'kamikaze' or 'suicide drone', was carrying 10 kg of explosives and was intended to target an Indian Air Force base in Punjab's Hoshiarpur.
