BSF recovers heroin, drones on Punjab border
The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police worked together to stop smugglers at the Punjab border.
They found a gun, bullets, and some heroin.
They also found special flying machines called drones that smugglers were using.
This is a big win because it stops bad people from bringing harmful things into India.
The BSF is doing a good job by catching these smugglers and making the border safer.
BSF and Punjab Police seized 1 pistol, 4 magazines, 12 live rounds, and 11 packets of heroin (6.51kg) in multiple operations
Three drones (DJI Air 3, DJI Mavic 4 Pro, Hexacopter) were recovered from different locations near the Punjab border
Operations were based on intelligence from two arrested smugglers in Fazilka
Recoveries were made in Chak Tahliwala, Tarn Taran district, Chak Allabaksh (Amritsar sector), and Dhani Phoola Singh (Fazilka sector)
These operations have significantly disrupted drone-assisted smuggling and narcotics trafficking networks
