HP OmniPad 12 Review: A Capable but Imperfect Productivity Tablet
The HP OmniPad 12 is a large tablet designed to help people work.
It comes with a keyboard, so it can be used somewhat like a small laptop.
Its screen is bright, colourful and smooth.
The keyboard is comfortable, but the trackpad is not as easy to click.
The tablet works well for simple tasks such as writing, browsing and watching videos.
It can become slow when many apps or windows are open.
Its battery lasts a long time, but charging it fully takes about two and a half hours.
The tablet costs Rs 48,999 and is a reasonable first attempt, but it is not ideal for everyone.
The HP OmniPad 12 features a bright 12-inch 2K display with refresh rates up to 90Hz.
Its bundled detachable keyboard provides a comfortable typing experience, though the trackpad feels rigid.
The tablet handles basic tasks well but shows lag during multitasking and demanding use.
Battery life is strong, while charging from zero to full takes close to 2.5 hours.
Priced at Rs 48,999, the OmniPad 12 earns a 3/5 rating as a decent first tablet from HP.
