CJP Supports MGAHV Students, Seeks Withdrawal of FIRs

Students at Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya have been protesting over university courses and PhD admissions.

They want Women’s Studies and Film Studies to return to the Wardha campus.

They also want PhD admissions to continue.

Six research scholars were named in police cases after the protest.

The university has stopped those six students from entering campus while an inquiry takes place.

The Cockroach Janta Party says the students should not face criminal cases for protesting peacefully.

The university says the protest disrupted offices, staff movement, and university work.

An official says PhD admissions have now resumed, but the course issue is still being discussed.
