Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Launch Confirmed for September 5
Maruti Suzuki is a car company that sells cars in India.
One of its cars is called the Baleno, a small hatchback.
The company has confirmed that a new, updated version of the Baleno will be launched on September 5, 2026.
This new version will look fresher, with changes to the front grille and bumpers.
Inside, the car will mostly keep its current dashboard and big 9-inch touchscreen.
It might get a sunroof and soft lighting to make the cabin nicer.
The engine will stay the same: a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a manual or automatic gearbox.
There will also be a CNG version that runs on gas.
The new Baleno will cost a little more than the current one, which is priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 9.10 lakh.
It will compete with other popular hatchbacks like the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza.
Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the Baleno facelift will launch in India on September 5, 2026, ahead of the festive season.
The facelift focuses on styling, equipment and cabin appeal rather than a complete mechanical overhaul.
Design updates are expected to include a redesigned front grille, revised bumpers, new alloy wheels and a new rear bumper.
The cabin is expected to keep the current dashboard and 9-inch touchscreen, with possible additions such as a sunroof and ambient lighting.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine (90 hp, 113 Nm) with manual or AMT, plus a CNG variant, is expected to carry over, with price likely to rise slightly from the current Rs 5.99-9.10 lakh.
