Kerala Launches Robotics Training for 4.5 Lakh Students
Kerala has started a big robotics training program for all 10th-grade students in government and aided schools.
This program, led by KITE and Little KITES, will teach students about robotics and how to use robotic kits.
The training has two parts: the first part teaches about the importance of robotics and its components, and the second part is hands-on training where students will learn to code and control robotic kits.
The goal is to make every student proficient in modern technology, which will help them in their exams and future careers.
The training will be completed by January 15.
KITE, the technology arm of Kerala’s general education department, launched a state-wide robotics training program for 4.5 lakh class 10 students.
The program aims to provide practical experience with robotics topics introduced in the revised Class 10 IT textbook.
The training is structured into two sessions: one focusing on awareness and the other on hands-on training using robotic kits.
Students will learn block-based coding using PictoBlox software to perform tasks like blinking LEDs and operating buzzers.
The program is designed to make every Class 10 student proficient in modern technology, keeping in mind future career opportunities.
