Eight Surrendered Naxals Pass Class 10 Through Open School

Eight people who had been part of the Naxal movement passed their Class 10 exams.

They had stopped going to school when they were young.

After surrendering, they got a chance to study again through Chhattisgarh Open School.

The graduates came from Bastar, Kanker, and Bijapur.

One student, Geeta Nureti, went back to school at age 35 and hopes to become a nurse.

Another, Bhaskar, passed with a first division and wants to encourage education.

The state policy helps former cadres study and train for work.

Their exam results show that they are taking steps toward new goals.
