Andhra Pradesh Launches Land Reforms and Temple Initiatives
The Andhra Pradesh government is doing two big things to help people.
First, they are giving out special passbooks to show who owns which land.
They will also fix any mistakes in these passbooks.
Second, they are removing some lands from a special list that makes it hard to own or sell them.
This will make it easier for people to use their land.
The government is also working to make sure farmers and landowners have their rights protected.
They want to make Andhra Pradesh a better place by 2026.
District-wise distribution of passbooks starting January 2, 2024, with officials correcting errors at residents' homes.
Removal of private patta lands, military personnel's lands, freedom fighters' properties, and political victims' parcels from the 22A list.
Expanded revenue clinics across all districts to address land-related issues swiftly.
Introduction of a true-down electricity mechanism to reduce energy charges.
Vision for a prosperous Andhra Pradesh by 2026, with a focus on village development and welfare schemes.
