The report says the gang used Canada's student visa system to get its members into the country.

Many gang members pretended to come to Canada as students or temporary workers.

But really, they were joining the gang's criminal operations.

One of the gang's top leaders, a man named Goldy Brar, came to Canada on a student visa.

His job was to run the gang's criminal work in North America.

In 2019, he asked Canada for refugee status so he could stay.

After that, he disappeared and went into hiding.
